THANK YOU
A thousand times thank you to all those who heard our call and joined the March to Ottawa.
For five days, we made it clear to the elected representatives that we will not forget either their lack of humanity or the victims of the Gaza Strip.
The vast majority of MPs hid to avoid us, unable to face their shameful responsibility in the Palestinian genocide. Because a group of dreamers, who came from different corners of the country, dared to break into their comfort zone. And we did it: we occupied it, upholding our dignity for five days, despite harassment from parliamentary police, despite the heat, despite the deep pain of reading the names of more than 20,000 children murdered in Gaza.
Yes, we have disobeyed. Because a government that disregards international law does not deserve the respect of those who are guided by human rights. We did so as an act of dignity and responsibility, faithful to our values of respect for life and for the right of peoples to self-determination. The accomplices of the Palestinian genocide needed to know that we are determined to hold them accountable for their inaction.
The March to Ottawa has ended, but not our initiatives of solidarity. We are already engaged in new projects that took shape during those days at Parliament Hill, the Wall of Shame. This wall, now filled with the names of the MPs who refused to read those of the murdered children, will continue to grow with other unworthy names across the country until the next electoral process. Thus, when the time comes to vote, citizens will be able to remember who their representatives were and what stance they took at a time when the life and death of a people were at stake.
Their lack of commitment cannot go unpunished. Today, the global call in defense of the Palestinian people is also a call to memory, to justice, and to action.
We count on you.

Canada is not neutral in the Gaza genocide.
On the heels of the recent assassination of the beloved Palestinian journalist Anas Al-Sharif - and over two hundred other journalists targeted for telling the truth about the Gaza genocide - this is a crucial moment in Canadian history to expose the truth about our own country’s role in fuelling it.
The recent armsembargonow.ca/report revealed that Canada never suspended weapons permits to Israel and that over 400 shipments still reached Tel Aviv. While posing as a humanitarian actor, the Canadian government has lied to the public about its role in the Gaza genocide. Our tax dollars continue to fund the genocide abroad while essential services at home remain underfunded.
The March to Ottawa was our collective response. Together, we marched to Parliament Hill, and between September 15 - 19, 2025 - our coordinated actions exposed Canada’s role, confronted its complicity, and demanded an end of the Gaza genocide.
You joined us. We stood for truth. We marched to Ottawa to stop the genocide.
