From Cairo to Ottawa → We March Again to Break the Siege in Gaza!
From Cairo to Ottawa → We March Again to Break the Siege in Gaza!
When: September 19
Meetup: Canadian Museum of History, 100 Laurier, Gatineau, QC
Time: 6:00 pm
This past June, we mobilized with everyday people from 50+ countries in Egypt to demand the opening of a humanitarian corridor in Gaza. We were stopped by Egyptian authorities at Israel’s demand. We returned bruised but unafraid - and after the Arms Embargo Report dropped, we regrouped and remained determined to help break the siege on Gaza.
Now we march again, in solidarity with the freedom flotillas breaking the siege, to hold our own government accountable.
For two years, Canada has been complicit and an active participant in the Gaza genocide:

For two years, Canada has been complicit and an active participant in the Gaza genocide:
- Selling weapons and military tech to Israel
- Persecuting pro-Palestinian voices
- Allowing Canadians to fight for the IOF under Israel’s flag
We will not allow our government to continue to fund this genocide in our names
On September 19 we rewrite history by flooding the streets!
Join us to set the record straight: Canada is not neutral.
Silence is complicity.
Together we will demand an end to the Gaza genocide!
